Swarna Kalamkari Suit Set

An antique gold tissue kurta with a scalloped V neckline, where the yoke is filled with sequin and zari jaal work outlined in rust thread and edged with gold sikka trim. The same coin detailing finishes the embroidered sleeves and hem. It is paired with black tulip pants with fine bead detailing and a burnt orange kalamkari dupatta with zari stripes and red tassels. Style it with black or gold heels and polki or antique gold earrings for a sangeet, festive dinner or wedding function, and skip a necklace since the neckline does the work. Dry clean only, steam rather than iron directly on the tissue and embroidery, and store folded in a muslin cloth away from moisture.
